Just-In-Time (JIT) is a business model in which a RILCO customer agrees to stock certain RILCO products at their location(s).  This customer location can be a long-term storeroom for totes, drums, kegs, pails and case goods containers or it may even be a customer on-site bulk tanks.  RILCO agrees to take regularly-scheduled physical inventories to monitor each product’s current stock status.  Together, RILCO and the customer will define exactly which products will be held as JIT.  There will be defined minimum on-hand inventory levels by product and establish economic order quantities to manage lower delivery costs for both RILCO and our customers.  JIT practices greatly reduced the amount of times out-of-stock products have been experienced by our customers.  By implement JIT practices, our customers are seeing reduced downtime and higher plant reliability.
